Objectives of the Course
1.
To develop among teachers a clear understanding of the
psychology
of their students.

To enable them to understand the process of socialization.

To develop in them an understanding of the principles of
pedagogy,
curriculumdevelopment,
its transaction and evaluation

To enable them to make pedagogical analysis of subjects they

to teach at the middle, secondary and higher secondary stages.

To develop the skills for guidance and counseling.

To enable them to foster creative thinking among pupils for the
reconstruction
of knowledge.

To acquaint them with the factors and forces (within the school

outside) affecting educational system and class room situation.
